Introducing SkyVac Gutter Cleaning
We use equipment called SkyVac to reach high up gutters and gutters with restricted access. Gutters in hard to reach places such as above extensions and conservatories, and top floors of townhouses are usually impossible to reach with only the use of a ladder – not for us!
SkyVac is essentially a vacuum cleaner with a 10 metre reach, which is equivalent to a 3-storey building. It can clear leaves, stubborn moss, twigs, mud, and anything else that finds its way into guttering and causes build-up – wet or dry. Affixed to the top of the SkyVac is a CCTV camera which we use to record the level of debris in the gutters before cleaning, and throughout the cleaning process.
With this camera, we can provide video and photographic evidence of what was cleared from the gutters. We also use the video to detect any issues with the guttering itself. If we find any, our tradespeople can assess there and then.
